Well I do not know what the problem is. But my first-generation iPod not included. I introduced him to the DPU mode... So what? He is now just do not turn on. But it's so interesting. Type questions. In fact, this application I have established either iTunes or when you connect, the player itself.

PROBLEM SOLVED: I had the same problem. I had to extract WebCam Central from preinstall image (BASE.WIM file on hidden RECOVERY partition) after mounting it using DISM command in Windows 7. Webcam Central 2.0 works well. No other driver is needed. I am looking for installation version. There is an OLD VERSION in apps for Inspiron N5010!

After installing iTunes 8 for Windows, some users may see a blue screen error message when connecting iPhone or iPod to a Windows Vista computer. In some cases, the computer may immediately restart when connecting iPhone or iPod to the computer.

Disconnect your iPhone or iPod from Windows Vista.
Uninstall iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support
For Classic View
Choose Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
First select Apple Mobile Device Support, click Uninstall.
Select iTunes, click Uninstall.
For Control Panel Home View
Choose Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program.
First select Apple Mobile Device Support, click Uninstall.
Select iTunes and click Uninstall.
Restart the computer.
Re-download and install the updated iTunes 8 installer from www.apple.com/itunes/download.
Important: Do not use the iTunes8Setup or iTunes864Setup file you previously downloaded...
i had a problem on my phone that said that the apple mobile device cannot be used because it has not yet started. I uninstalled and reinstalled both apple mobile device and itunes and it still doesn't work, I can't sync my phone!
